Rite Supreme Council for Ecumenical

Mixed Masonic lodges in France working at Rite Ecumenical: Judeo-Christian-Muslim (Former Name ROAR).

Why a new rite?

Going on the fact that some French and European Muslims attending Obediences and Masonic Lodges (Grand Orient de France, Grand Lodge of France, GLNF ...) (see the reasons on the site of the Grand Arab Orient), and responding to the wishes of many of them, the Grand Master of the Grand Arab Orient Jean-Marc Aractingi developed a new ritual: the Rite Ecumenical (formerly called ROAR).

Knowing that the current rituals all refer to an inspiration only "Judeo-Christian", the new rite is based on former Muslim operative Freemasonry and the various known rites, filling a gap (although Freemasonry religion and politics remain in the secular world), in wanting to be more ecumenical in the ritual and symbols referring to the three great monotheistic religions, Judaic, Christian and Muslim.

For those wishing to learn about Freemasonry, according to the rite in which Freemasons who would hone their skills by working at the Ecumenical Rite in France and soon in Europe, please send your photo + CV + cover letter (discretion assured) to: info@grandorientarabe.org
